Seattle Media Interviews ISNetworks CEO About "Godswrath"

While investigating their story on the "Godswrath" web site, Northwest News turned to ISNetworks CEO for an expert opinion on the alleged plan to disable computer systems over the Internet.

He said that although there are several points on the Internet that may be susceptible to attack, it would be all but impossible to bring down the Internet as a whole.

"There isn't some grand design to make the Internet safe, it's just the way it's organically developed."

ISNetworks offers free implementation of RSA in Java

For the benefit of the developer community, ISNetworks has published its implementation of the RSA algorithm. RSA was released to the public domain on September 6.

RSA can be used for encryption, as well as for digital signatures. You can download ISNetworks' implementation here.

Seattle, Dallas Media Interview ISNetworks CEO About "I LOVE YOU" Virus

Dallas ABC Affliate, Seattle NBC Affiliate and the Northwest News interviewed ISNetworks CEO to request his professional opinion on the latest computer virus outbreak.

During the interviews he was asked about the technology behind the virus and why it caused such damage. He attributed the proliferation of the virus to its relative simplicity and the fact that it was delivered as a readable script.

"[People will] notice that they can just make some minor modifications and suddenly it's back out there under a different name."
